Notre Dame Security Police’s Food for Fines Program allows drivers to pay citations with nonperishable food (cans, soup, dried goods, etc.).  Inspired by suggestions from the university’s parking staff, the program allows each item to cover $2 in fines, up to a maximum of $60 and is open to anyone who received a citation on campus, including students, staff, faculty and visitors. The program ends Dec 8.
