Dogs vs cats, an issue that has long threatened to tear our nation in two, has finally been settled.  A Vanderbilt University neurological study painstakingly counted the number of neurons (a consistent indicator of animal intelligence) in the canine and feline brains and found that cats average only 250 million neurons while dogs have over 530 million (humans possess over 100 billion).  According to the study, the ratio of intelligence between a dog and a cat is comparable to that between a human and gorilla.
