The schools might be closed through the holidays, but their kitchens won’t be according to the Indianapolis Public Schools Food Director Dena Bond. Families in need will be able to enjoy breakfast and lunch at 16 area schools and two libraries from Dec. 18 to Dec. 29.

“We’re excited to be able to provide delicious, nutritious meals not only for students during the Winter Break, but also their siblings,” said Bond. “Anyone under the age of 18 can eat for free offering a nice relief to families who need it most.”
